I discovered a game by the makers of Neopets. (I was obsessed with neopets when I was about 10, and itwas not pretty). This game however, is a MMOPORG (or some similar arrangement of letters). Last night my upper lip felt kinda swollen, and when I woke up this morning, it and my bottom lip were HUGE! So I went to urgent care and it seems to be an allergic reaction of some kind. I have a sort of canker sore, and he recommends benadryl or tylenol for the swelling/pain. I'm just letting you know in case it happens to you.

My Morning Epif- Epipa- Realization

This may seem like an unusual thing to blog about, but this morning I realized that the word strange is only one syllable. I found this to be.... wait for it..... STRANGE! Hehe. I tend to have realizations like this often. For example, I realized recently that dry cleaning meant cleaning... without water! What a crazy world we live in. I wonder what the longest one syllable word is? Hang on, I'll google it. Okay, here it is: scraunched. It comes from Don Quixote, by Cervantes. I just read about this story. Apparently, it's about a knight and his squire, who represent opposite parts of human nature. The knight is ready to jump into anything without thought, while his squire is more of a realist, preferring to plan before he places himself in danger's path. I kinda want to actually read it now. Hm... $11.53 on Amazon...

The Kingdom of Loathing

I found out about this game at Kazim's Korner. (http://kazimskorner.blogspot.com/). Anyway, if you're a little bit of a geek like me, you'll enjoy it. I'm not a fan of World of Warcraft or many computer games, but this game is endlessly amusing. The game begins with a quest for the "Toot Oriole" (say it out loud) and ends (for the first time) with a battle against the Naughty Sorceress to save King Ralph. You get to choose a character class, like Turtle Tamer or Pastamancer. There are all sorts of stick figures all over the Kingdom, and there are lotsa cool outfits to wear, see!

Along the way you will battle plants, zmobies(NOT a typo), and the occasional sabre-toothed goat. Not to worry, you will be well equipped with weapons such as cast-iron legacy paddles, goatskin umbrellas, and ridiculously overelaborate ninja weapons. Aaaaand... it's free! Hooray!
