Ben doesn't want me to post this.

No Cortes Carne...

I love the writing. Is it common that surgeons operate on the wrong fingers?

Oh mai...

Apparently, there is now a jellyfish who gets younger after it reproduces. It used to be located in the Caribbean, and now has spread around the world. Dangit!

Note To UM: Hope the surgery went well. Love you!

Products! (All from FredFlare.com)

THIS umbrella has a pattern of cats and dogs on the inside, and black on the outside. That way, you don't have to share the cute lil' puppies n' kitties with anyone else.

Since Valentine's day IS coming, one might want to start thinkin' about what to get that special someone. THIS love tape might make the wrapping of the special gift more exciting.

In terms of the gift itself, a CLOUD SWEATER such as the one pictured above might be nice.

If you're redonkulously attached to your puppeh, you might be interested in the Pet's Eye View camera. Place it around your dog's neck, and it will take pictures every few minutes that you can view once you get back.

THIS all-edges brownie pan is just up my alley. Why? Because I like the edges best.

Well, that's all for now.

Wish You Were Like Dr. Horrible?

THIS can help you on your way to becoming a supervillan. Every villian has a wall of monitors, right? Well, at this site, you can monitor various locations. Credit to Neatorama for the find.

Guitar Hero Text Adventure

Like Guitar Hero? Like text adventure games? Well then you'll love THIS. I recommend picking up the guitar, then pressing buttons. At the end,

"Your epic success at pressing colored buttons on a fake guitar throws the crowd into hysteric ecstasy; they proceed to storm the stage. Plastic axe held high in victory, you're lifted from the ground onto the hands of your adoring fans and passed around the audience. The raucous cheering is deafening. So this is what it's like to be a rock star."

A Note:

Make sure you type the www before you put kindaunique.me in the browser, otherwise you'll be taken to an old version of the site. Also note: my current skin is boring, I know. I'm learning HTML and I have Alex working on a header for my self-made skin. (Thanks, Alex!)

A Bit of Fry and Laurie

Before he was House M.D., he and his friend had a show. I think it's cute, and you can find more of this sort of thing on YouTube.

Ya.

I just discovered a neat site, http://www.whatshouldireadnext.com/. You input the title and author of a book you enjoyed, and the site gives you suggestions for books you should try. It's based on the favorite books of other people who read that book, so if you register you can help people find good books to read.

Not Looking Forward to Preparing for the SAT?

Sorry, got my picture from Amazon, you can't look inside from my site, you've gotta visit Amazon. Anyway, this book makes studying for the SAT slightly less boring than it would be. With questions like,

"Yo momma so ______, when you mail her a letter, you need two zip codes."
A. diaphanous
B. luminous
C. ravenous
D. grisly
E. corpulent

Check it out HERE.

Misc.

You can find instructions on how to make your own Wall-e sandwich HERE.

THIS how-to-tie-a-tie tie would be helpful to somebody I know.

Irony.

On a note with no pictures, THIS game is frustrating and I utterly failed at it.

Also, you can track how many of President Obama's promises made during the campaign he has kept HERE. (There are about 500 promises, and after only a few days 5 have been completed and 14 are in the works.)

Ever wished you could share your life with aliens, like in scifi novels? Well, if you're a blogger, you can feed your blog into space for free at www.bloginspace.com.

What can I say? I inspire people wherever I go. Or perhaps, I visited THIS site and made it. (Credit to my momma for finding it.)

Products:

You can get THIS sexy squirrel pouch at ShanaLogic. I personally feel that it would make an excellent camera case.

THIS notebook is found on Etsy, made by Clanne04. I thought it was very fun.

Okay, I'm too lazy for this...

I've figured out how to make it so you can type my site name, http://www.kindaunique.me/, and get to my site, but at the same time, I can use blogger's resources. Hooray! Everyone wins.

EDIT: FYI, you should post comments here now, not that you really have any other choice...

You can buy contact lens cases that tell you when to throw the contacts out HERE.Since wearing contacts too long can cause eye problems, this product could be very useful. Plus, it comes in lotsa colors.

THESE are chocolate pencils. They come with a sharpener so you can put chocolate shavings on stuff.Or you could try to write with them, I guess.

Okay, you can't buy this product, but it's cute, isn't it?

You can buy this Dust Bunny Duster HERE, at Perpetual Kid. Oooh... Ahhh...

"Oh, yeah? Well, what key do you play guitar in?""I play in the KEY OF ROCK!" THIS key is perfect for the guitar hero lover in your family.

THIS Star Trek chair can be used to control the electronics around your home, as well as make you feel uber-cool. (I know it seems like I'm mocking, but I'm not.)

Okay, so you can make your own Who Wants to be a Millionare question HERE.However, the page is in french, so you just need to use common sense to figure out where to write the question and answers. (Unless you speak french, in which case, ignore that.)

Perhaps THIS giraffe tv is right for you...

Or, if giraffes are too cool for you, you might consider THIS slightly less awesome, but still amazing Padres tv.

Of course, if you're lame and don't watch tv, then you should consider purchasing THIS killer phone for only $119.

THIS lettuce safe is.... safe. I mean, if I was a burglar who hadn't heard of this fantastic blog or this fantastic post, I would probably not look inside the lettuce. Ever.
Anything?

Ben and I got to choose dessert.

Okay, I'm Moving!

I think you should check out your favorite sites, Baconified. All you have to do is type http://bacolicio.us/ and add the URL of the site you want to see bacon-ified. For example, if you want to see this site bacon-ified, you type in http://bacolicio.us/http://www.kindaunique.me/, and you shall see it bacon-ified!

I'm moving my blog to the new URL I got for my birthday, http://www.kindaunique.me/. I'll be leaving this version up until I can figure out how to move my archives to the new site. As of now, I have only the last 25 entries.

1 Billion Dollars?

Arnold Schwarzenegger plans to save 1 billon dollars by cutting 5 days off of the school year. While I support this plan (Hey, I'm a teen, gimme a break), I wonder what is more important than the education of our youth, the future of America and the world.

This plan is expected to hurt the educations of poor school districts who won't be able to stay open. Richer school districts will be able to pay for the missing five days themselves, so although they're against it because they don't want to be the ones paying, they won't truly lose anything in terms of test scores, etc.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

From Wikipedia:
Severus Snape is a fictional character in the Harry Potter book series written by J. K. Rowling. In the first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, he is one of the primary antagonists. As the series progresses, Snape's character becomes more layered and complex, and Rowling does not fully reveal the details of his true loyalties until the end of the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Snape appears in all seven novels of the series.
Over the course of the series, Snape's portrayal evolves from that of a malicious and partisan teacher, to that of a pivotal character of considerable complexity and moral ambiguity. Snape teaches Potions, and later Defence Against the Dark Arts, at Hogwarts. Rowling has described him as "a gift of a character".

Are you creative?

Do you love The Office on NBC? If you answered yes to any or both of these questions, then you might be interested in Designing An Office Tee Shirt. They (NBC) have a contest running right now. Even if you don't want to design a tee, but you still like The Office, you can go vote on the tees already uploaded by other Office fans.

Word Association

Well, it's kinda boring after a while, but it's fun for about three or four turns. Check the "game" out HERE.

Because Apparently the Pic I Sent From my Phone Didn't Go Through...

HERE is the link to the website for The Sims 3. It looks pretty similar to the Sims 2, only you can customize stuff more. Dang! They always come out with a new one just when you have all the expansions for the old one. (I don't have any now, but I did when the Sims 2 came out.)

EDIT: Never mind, I viewed the site more and you can do a lot of different stuff in this game, like go to lots of different places, a walk through the neighborhood, and you can have short term and long term goals. Looks pretty cool. I approve.

The Customer is Not Always Right...

HERE, at NotAlwaysRight, you can read stories written by real workers who have encountered weirdos and people who are computer illiterate. (Hey, I was just thinkin', wouldn't it be funny if I couldn't spell illiterate?) I have to say, these stories both amuse me and make me want to not get a job.

Pika... CHEW!

Nope. I couldn't eat it, how 'bout you?

On another note, THIS site is the kind I approve of. Not that it really matters what I approve of.

Also, I would like a Pikachu. (Don't get excited, it's a photoshopped hamster or something.)

I'm Drawring A Blank For A Title...

HERE's a logic quiz. I got 80%, so... I'm semi-logical.

You know what's NOT logical? (Hint: If not, see below.)

It appears the item number was put in the price box...

Products You Don't Need

This sexy aquarium toilet makes me sad for those fish... (I figure nobody wants the link, right?)
THIS rockin' keyboard is colorful, or colourful, as the brits would say.

Pre-Chewed Pencils. (No, not chewed by actual people...)

To quote Miranda Priestly, "That's all."

Pets Forbidden in California

HERE's a list. I shall now put some pictures of the cuter animals up. Aww...

This is a bird of some kind. Look at it's eye... isn't it cool?

I think this is a gerbil. I don't really understand the difference between hamsters and gerbils (please, nobody tell me), but I'm pretty sure gerbils aren't allowed because of some crop issue.

This is a zebra mouse. Again, not sure what makes it different from any other mouse other than its stripes, but...

This is also a zebra mouse, just a different kind.

I know we all see a dormouse as the little guy from Alice in Wonderland, but it is in fact, another hamsterlike creature. His/her eyes are watching you...

Okay, this animal just made me think of Ben. Not that it looks like him or anything, it just seemed like something he would want as a pet. I can visualize him spending hours stroking its tail, just like I spend hours looking at the drinking bird he gave me for... my birthday? (Not sure what the gift was for, maybe because I'm awesome?)

January 4, 2009

Guess What? It's mah Birfday!

Which I share with Sir Isaac Newton. So far, I've gotten three large bags of PB m&ms, season one of Big Bang Theory and Pushing Daisies, Baby Momma, and a real, non-blogger URL for my blog. (Oh, and an awesome yellow beret.)

And now... for something cool and sad at the same time....

http://worldsuperheroregistry.com/

Where you can learn all about superhero etiquette, read tutorials on how to make your own net gun, and do other superheroic things.

Jealous Aren't You...?

My brother got an iPod Touch! *Sound of Ben Dying*

I can't decide if I approve...

THIS site has spoilers for many of your fave shows such as House, The Office, and Pushing Daisies. While I want to know, do I want to know?

So... Pepsi is changing their logo. I don't drink Pepsi, but I kinda like the new logo better than the old one.

I found this picture at funnyjunk.com.
Check out THIS insanity test. (If you're at work, wait until you get home, as it's kinda loud.)
