So, since I looked up the picture of that penguin eraser I bought yesterday, Amazon keeps suggesting different cute erasers as "Products I May Like." And since I actually do like them, I thought I'd share 'em with you.

You can get Duck and Frog erasers.

So today Ben and I went to see 500 Days of Summer. It's only showing in some theatres, so we had to drive kinda far to see it. We got there a little early, so we went into this toy store nearby. Do you remember Zany Brainy? No? Why doesn't anyone remember it but me? Anyway, it was pretty awesome, as was this store. So here's what I got.

An eraser shaped like a toothbrush. But it was yellow. (Sorry, I couldn't find a picture of a yellow toothbrush eraser.)

A grape smencil. (That is, a pencil that smells like grape.)

An eraser shaped like a penguin. Actually this is exactly what it looks like.

And a pencil sharpener shaped like a dog. Only mine is purple. And it has a lazy eye. Which makes it better than the one in the picture.

Also, I got some stickers. Of whales and things.

How adorable is THIS monster laptop case? Plus, it's furry! But the site in general has some very unique and exciting electronics cases.

You Know What's Weird?

Does it bother anyone else when people sniff something, proclaim how terrible it smells, and then hold it out for you to smell? Sam the Eagle expresses my sentiments perfectly, so I'll just let him explain it to you.

On an unrelated note, I just bought a fantastic song on iTunes called Hey Julie by Fountains of Wayne. I first heard it on Scrubs and then it was stuck in my head, so I had my lil' brother Google it. It's kinda funny, and really catchy. Here's one stanza (?) that I found particularly amusing.

Working all day for a mean little guy

With a bad toupee and a soup-stained tie

He's got me running 'round the office

Like a gerbil on a wheel

He can tell me what to do

But he can't tell me what to feel

I just liked that. It's okay if you didn't. I'll recover from the glaring disappointment someday... ;)

Do you like your handwriting?

- It's okay. Not as pretty as some people's, better than my lil' brother's.

Do you prefer to print or write in cursive?

- Print. I gave up on cursive in like, 6th grade.

Do you think handwriting should be graded in school?

-No, because it's something that just happens. That would be like grading people on their hair color.

Do you prefer writing in pencil or pen?

-I actually just discovered the joy of writing in pen this last year. So, pen.

When you write in ink, do you prefer a neutral color such as black or blue, or a fun color like purple or green?

I like the fun colors, but I really like pens, so I'll write with whatever I can get. Except brown. I probably wouldn't use brown pen.
